In the 1970s, the first sand infill turf systems began replacing the old-style, carpet like Astroturf which was introduced to the world in 1966. When Sprinturf was awarded a United States patent for its revolutionary system, it had already set the new standard for excellence in turf.

Sprinturfs patented design became the industry high-mark in the late 1990s. There are now significantly more clients demanding an all-rubber infill than sand/rubber infill. This has forced the major competitors to scramble and offer their own all-rubber infill systems to meet the demand created by Sprinturfs revolutionary product.

But make no mistake, Sprinturf is the leader in all-rubber infill systems. We invented and patented the technology. As such, no one but Sprinturf can offer the Sprinturf system.
